Lab Overview

Tropical disco heat from Stephen Encinas repressed! Invisible City Editions have been killing it with the reissues (check the Michael Boothman 12" for more fire), and this might be the best one to date. In-demand to those that know, "Disco Illusions" is a trip to the islands with a sultry disco groove that breaks down to one of the illest bass line grooves put to wax. Seriously can't stop moving to this one (Motor City Drum Ensemble even kicked off his Boiler Room mix with it). That groove provides the basis for the flipside version, the steel drum laced "Lypso Illusion," for those that want to cut straight to the chase. Act fast on this, the whole office copped it and copies are literally flying off the shelf at the NY store. Comes in a lovely pic sleeve, Recommended.
