  • Black Friday Record Store Day 2013 Exclusive! Nas's 1992 debut single reproduced in its original form. The Large Professor produced "Halftime" first appeared as part of Oliver Stone's Zebrahead soundtrack. It's an uptempo percussion and horn heavy beat that sees Large Pro successfully combining samples from "Schoolboy Crush" by Average White Band, "Hawaiian Sophie" by Jaz-O, "Soul Traveling" by Gary Byrd, and "Dead End" by Japanese Hair. For his part, Nasty Nas comes with a ton of memorable lines that showcase his rhyming skills. All this is thanks to MC Serch of 3rd Bass who was his manager at the time and made sure to include Nas on the film's soundtrack.

    • originally recorded for the Zebrahead soundtrack
    • limited edition, numbered, 180 gram pressing
    • faithful reproduction of the original 12" single
    • music label: Columbia / Ruffhouse Records 2013
