Lab Overview

"Named in Pitchfork’s 200 Most Important Artists of the Last 25 Years, the San Franciscan songwriting duo Girls imparted a massive sonic shift on their last 2010 EP, Broken Dreams Club, before breaking up in 2012. The band emerged with a more massive, lusher sound with horns, pedal steel and psychedelic effects throughout. Upon its release, Christopher Owens described the exuberant six songs as a 'letter of intent,' 'snapshot of the horizon' and 'step up' from its stunning predecessor Album." - True Panther Sounds
