Ryuichi Sakamoto & Alva Noto's stunning soundtrack to The Revenant on deluxe double colored vinyl. The masterful composer duo (along with Brooklyn composer/guitarist Bryce Dessner on some tracks) lay down several breathtaking and poignant ambient/modern classical pieces to form the audible backdrop to Alejandro G. Inarrit's harrowing survival tale. Not to take any credit away from Leo (who definitely deserved that Oscar), but Sakamoto and Noto's music plays a integral role in creating the intense and epic energy of the film. 23 tracks in all pressed up on beautiful translucent blue and cloud white vinyl with brilliant gatefold sleeve.
