Seminal shoegaze band's 2nd album reissued! The follow up to what might easily be one of the best albums in the genre (Nowhere), Going Blank Again resembles the classic on the surface level but offers so much more. The album was produced by engineer god Alan Moulder giving it that Creation sound but the band had clearly taken on new influences. Yes the signs of what makes a shoegaze album a shoegaze album are there, but the mood felt a little different. While there were hints of it on Nowhere, the outside influence of The Smiths to The Stone Roses might have been weighing in a little more. While it wasn't initially hailed as one of Ride's best, Going Blank Again has since become a fan favorite and this 2022 repress on colored vinyl is very much welcome. Housed in a glossy gatefold jacket with lyric sheet insert included.
