Third studio album from Cambridge, MA's Morphine. Yes was originally recorded between 1994 and 1995, and featured a more challenging sound than their previous release, Cure for Pain. The band's distinct style combined blues, jazz and rock elements to create one of the most unique sounds in the alt-rock world. Bucking the conventions of rock, they used two string electric bass and growling baritone sax as their lead instruments. Frontman Mark Sandman delivered deep, crooning, beat inspired vocals further adding to their idiosyncratic sound. Out of print for nine years, Yes is now available as a limited deluxe expanded edition. An entire LP of previously unreleased outtakes, live tracks and rare B-sides is included, as well. Notable songs include: "All Your Way," "Whisper," and "Scratch." Twenty-two tracks in all. Released by Run Out Groove on 180 gram double vinyl housed in a Stoughton gatefold tip-on sleeve with a printed insert.
