LAB REVIEW

The Little Fwend adds convenience to your manual turntable by automatically lifting the tonearm at the end of the record. This device ensures you will never experience the sound of your needle scraping at the end of a record... or worse, on the label! It is similar in function to the utilitarian Q Up, but constructed of premium materials for safe and smooth operation, with a sleek design that compliments high end audiophile turntables. This particular model is specifically tuned to work with Technics' SL-1200/1210 direct drive turntable, the classic DJ model. It has been engineered to sit directly between the 1200's onboard tonearm lift and the platter and once the tonearm hits the high carbon steel Roslau piano wire, the neoprene rubber beam lifts it up. Easy to fine-tune to however you have your tonearm height set in a matter of minutes using the supplied hex key and mounting tape.
