Lab Overview

Robin Hood is probably worth it alone for "Rock And Come In," one of my favorite Barrington tracks (and one we've never had a single to). This is vintage Barrington sweetness (age 17 in 1980) marking his early Greensleeves period. However, really get into this album and you'll see a serious, darker side of Barrington. Seriously, this is some emo-goth reggae pondering about life and love. Check out darker tracks like "Many Changes In Life," "Na Broke No Fight" and "Like How You Kiss." The usual team of Junjo Lawes and Scientist makes it work, matching Barrington's themes with weight and substance. Also worth checking: "Robin Hood," "Love Sister Carol" and "When Friday Come." Official Greensleeves press, excellent quality.
