Yep, The Beta Band’s first three EPs: Champion Versions, The Patty Patty Sound and Los Amigos Del Beta Bandidos, originally released on 12” vinyl between 1997 and 1998, compiled on CD as The Three EPs in 1998 and immortalized on film by John Cusack just a year later. The compilation arrived before the band released an official debut album and, in addition to a very special shout out in High Fidelity, was a lot of fans’ first exposure to the cult experimental indie rockers.
