"We received a shipment of cosmetically imperfect Rega platter kits for your Rega turntables. Luckily, the imperfections are very minor and often invisible. The Planar 6 platter fills the role of an exact replacement for your Planar 6 platter, or a serious upgrade to your existing Planar 3! This kit includes a unique dual-layer platter developed from float glass and manufactured using an innovative UV bonding process. This bonds the secondary ring platter to the underside of the main one, creating more mass towards the outer edges and achieving a flywheel effect. This assists with stability, accuracy and consistency. The aluminum sub-platter adaptor uses a 6-point mounting system to ensure the platter and vinyl are presented as flat as possible to the stylus." - Rega
