Lab Overview

Interpol's infamous debut LP for Matador, back in print! Here's what we said back when: Once I got over my Joy Division loyalties, I finally discovered one of the best rock albums of recent years. The opening quartet of "Untitled," "Obstacle 1," "NYC," and "PDA" ranks up there with any album I can think of. Quick check on my iTunes and I've played "Untitled" 80 times in the last year. It's that good. And I can't think of a more appropriate album for the vinyl format - drop the needle and let the mids conjure up your loveless sorrows and pubic angst. Personally, I never thought they achieved these heights again. Comes with free MP3 download. Recommended.
