Kon edits are like black gold. I thought Kenny Dope's edit of Gil Scott-Heron's "The Bottle" (on the Powerhouse 3 EP) was the last one I needed, but I'll have to make an exception here. Kon takes two stabs at the classic. The first is your classic DJ edit with a great mixable intro and heavy filter effects. The b-side mix is more of a complete makeover with a subtle 4/4 beat pushing setting up some guitar work. This is the part of the review where I tell you to "don't sleep" and "pick this up before it's gone." Get it.
