  • Life begins at 3am. The original soundtrack to the cult film Go finally makes it to vinyl for the first time, courtesy of Real Gone Music! Originally released in 1999, the Doug Liman-directed film examines what happens after a drug deal, from three different points of view. The expertly curated soundtrack sets the tone perfectly, with '99/Y2K vibes galore that touch on several prominent styles from the era. Since the movie came out at a mainstream peak of rave culture (the theater was literally full of ravers when I saw it), there's your obligatory BT track ("Believer"), some Big Beat from Fatboy Slim ("Gangster Tripping"), and even some DJ Rap ("Good To Be Alive") for good measure. Rock and downtempo from the time balances out the playlist, with No Doubt kicking it off on "New," the sugar-pop beats of Len's "Steal My Sunshine," Leftfield's "Swords," and AIR setting the afterhours mood with "Talisman." 14 tracks in all, pressed on limited edition yellow colored vinyl. Only 700 copies made in this color variant.

    • first ever vinyl pressing
    • "gopaque" yellow colored vinyl pressing
    • limited to 700 copies
    • gatefold sleeve
    • music label: Real Gone Music 2018
