Official random colored repress! "Root Down" was the jazzy standout off the Beasties' Ill Communication, so much so that it got the extended play treatment in 1995. The track is given three variations (Free Zone and Prince Paul's PP Balloon Mix, in addition to the standard LP version) and is paired up with live favorites off Check Your Head and Ill Communication ("Time To Get Ill," "Heart Attack Man," Sabrosa," etc.), recorded on the Beastie Boys 1995 European Tour. This 2019 anniversary reissue is pressed on 180 gram blue, green, red, or orange colored vinyl (randomly shipped).
