Lab Overview

Chicago house holy grail faithfully repressed. The duo of Eric Lewis and Merwyn Sanders made some amazing records in a relatively short amount of time. Along with their more widely known work as Virgo Four and M.E. they released one 12" as Ace & The Sandman. The title track expertly merges acid and deep Chicago house in what has become a house music classic. 303 lines wiggle through warm pads as the vocals repeat the mantra to "Let Your Body Talk." I've been after this one since I first heard it, but the price for the OG pressing was always sky high. Things take a different direction on the flip with "Ain't That Something," which offers up some proto DJ Sneak style loop based house. The record closes with the jazzy bounce of "Shakin' Room" which grooves for awhile before getting slammed with samples. All good material, remastered from the original tapes. Recommended.
