Lush sophomore album from this Metro Area associate, a record that's been flipping the wigs of damn near every critic on the planet. Elements of pop, house, disco, minimal techno and even r&b infiltrate Polar's music, which is produced with the same careful attention to detail as his Environ labelmates'. (In fact, Morgan Geist mixed the record down and contributed "additional production.") Check out the breathy lead single "Chrysanthemum(1)," icy duet "Entropy Reigns(2)," "We Live In An Expanding Universe(3)," "Satellites(4)" and "Thurston & Grisha(5)." 11 tracks total.
