Our man Ayres and his dude Matty C step up for the debut release from Me & Him Productions' Quarter Water series, "the first in a series of dance and club music edits and remixes." Ayres tackles "dance edits" on his side, which features the Salt N Pepa / Josh Wink combo "Push It Higher(1)," Reel 2 Reel against 2 Live Crew on "Face Down(2)," and "Get Down(3)," with a sample off Bobmo & Surkin's recent High-Powered Boys project. On the "house edits" side, Matty C does his thing to Inner City's "Good Life(4)," "Sooo Real(5)" and Ralphie Rosario's "You Used To(6)."
