The only question you need to ask yourself right now is "do I have this record?" Not "do I need this record?" because that's like asking "am I a DJ?" or "do I like music?" The answer to all four questions should of course be Yes, Yes, Yes and Yes, but you never know- maybe you just don't feel like looking for it, or the guitar intro is worn out on your play copy. Either way, don't make me tell you how brilliant this song is. How the revolutionary minimalism redefined pop, that the best line is "act your age, not your shoe size," how Prince originally wrote it for Mazarati but kept it for himself for the soundtrack to the unwatchable Under The Cherry Moon film, etc etc. Simply put, this record should always be in your crate between about five other Prince records, unless you're DJing for the Republican National Convention (Woody avoids eye contact while cashing his check quietly) or just hate people (Woody pretends to tie his shoelaces). B-side is "Love Or Money." Plays at 45.
