Todd Terje and London duo Optimus take their editing knives to this obscure 1989 Belgian new wave cover of Public Image Ltd's "Death Disco." Terje's version(1) accentuates the sick bassline and unsettling electronic freakiness of the original but extends the intro and break for your mixing convenience. Optimus' "Deadly Dub(2)" sports some mean stuttery synth work and more of a new skool vibe than the A-side; Arbeid Adelt!'s original(3) seals the deal. Plays at 45.
