Lab Overview

Repressed! One of the earliest 12"s from Danilo Plessow aka Motor City Drum Ensemble gets the reissue. Compost Black Label 27 originally came out back in 2007, and since then MCDE has risen in the ranks as one of the top dogs in the scene. This release  was his 2nd under the MCDE moniker (released right before Raw Cuts) and is found Plessow getting down on some funky deep house grooves. Check the deep bass hits on "Get Slapped Up" that's sure to get 'em open, while "SMK Part 2" keeps it moving with deep chords and heavy percussive swing. Also includes the druggy, low slung chug of "Stripped Down To The Bone" that's ripe for the after hours set.
