Herschel aims to manufacture well-designed, durable backpacks and bags inspired by vintage mountaineering, American heritage, world travel and fashion. Also factoring in modern shapes, fits and feels as well as "fine regard for detail," the luggage brand promises its products will "compliment the consumer's passion for individuality and personal style in a new way." The Settlement Backpack features simple, vintage design (think Jansport/Eastpak) with exposed zippers and zippered front pouch, internal media pocket & sleeve, and as with other Herschel products, it is lined with the brand's custom striped cotton/poly fabric. This one even features a unique all over paisley exterior. A perfect bag for school, commuting, etc.
