OVERVIEW
Shure's top of the line scratch cartridge (and our recommendation for the best scratch cartridge available), pre-mounted on a Technics headshell. The M447 is the most reliable and skip-resistant cartridge on the market. When set up properly and broken in, it will stick to the groove better than anything else we've encountered. The proof is in the users, and just about every big name is the scratch dj world swears by the M447. That list includes Q Bert, Mixmaster Mike, the X-Ecutioners, ATrak, the Beatjunkies, etc. In addition to the M447's legendary scratch capabilities, it also boasts an very low tracking force, which translates into minimum record wear. The sound output from the M447 tends to be very strong on the bass end, which is good for hip hop djs. At an extremely loud 9.5mV output, this is also one of the loudest cartridges on the market.
