Dabrye breaks his silence with this awaited EP release. Although there's only one new original track, it's a banger. Plus, he's recruited Hip Hop legend AG, and dubstep champion Kode 9 and LA's finest beatmaker Flying Lotus to lend a hand on the remixes. Check the new styles. "Get Dirty" kills it with some seriously ill, grill crunching dirty basslines and some raw rhymes from AG. It's like the Dabrye you know so well, pumped up with a modern touch (with a great use of the swooshing sample from Shannon's "Let The Music Play"). Kode 9's treatment of "Air - ft. MF Doom" bubbles in deep dubby bass womps, slowing down Doom's vocal to unreal speeds. Flying Lotus takes "Game Over - ft. Jay Dee & Phat Kat" and gives it that slumpy detroit-LA intersection. Serious sounds for your next headphone trip.
