When I first saw the diagram of Osama's compound, I thought: "that's a cool layout", almost like something you'd see in an architectural magazine. The Lab has teamed up with world renowned illustrator / designer Doug Cunningham of Morning Breath (he did Wave Twisters amongst so many other things) to commemorate the top soccer player in the world, Leo Messi aka The Flea. We wanted the shirt to look like something you could pick up outside an Argentine stadium, so we gave it a simple look and Alternative Apparel bodies (cut American Apparel but lighter fabric and neck). But look closely at the illustration and you'll see Doug's mad genius with halftone coloring, a hidden "Argentina", and great graphic details.

Turntable Lab teamed up with Brooklyn's Mer Bags to come up with this custom, all-purpose rolltop backpack. Basing the design on a signature Mer style, we tweaked the measurements to comfortably fit 12" records (you can comfortably fit 40 records, but you can definitely fit more), and added a roomy side-opening stash pocket for headphones, cables, etc. We also picked an exclusive Turntable Lab colorway featuring teal accents, bright white vinyl tarp-lined interior, and a 100% woven TTL logo patch.
