Lab Overview

Feeling a little heartburn? Generation Next returns to 7 Days Ent. with some seriously acidic takes. The young Detroit based producer has been making some noise ever since he popped up as Lil Strick on Big Strick's Detroit Heat LP. From there he's gone on to produce his own brand of house and techno. It's all a little smother than what Big Strick has been releasing, but the three tracks on Medication show Generation Next taking a turn towards the darkness. 303 lines take you down the rabbit hole while the 808 programming helps keep your head above water. That is until you get to "Acid Alcohol" where the drums threaten to take the whole thing off the rails. Definitely out there material from one of Detroit's youngest contenders.
