Mutant beats to melt your mind. Chris Alfaro aka Free The Robots done came hard with this one. The Minds Eye EP is one of the heaviest offerings we've heard from FTR, a five tracker filled with crushing drums and tripped out psychedelics that could only have come from the mind of a mad beat scientist. Check the knock on "The Free" to get an idea of what he's working with. So ill! "The Mind's Eye" continues with a funky beat stew to sink you deeper into the dark recesses of your brain, while "Prototype B" goes off on an epic psych-fusion tip. Fans of GLK should be all over this. Not for the weak of heart (or mind).
