Shota (the Lab's resident jazz aficionado) hipped us to these high-end audiophile grade cleaning accessories from Mofi Sound Lab. This is their easy to use record brush that features a proprietary cleaning pad that really gets deep into the grooves, eliminating most of the dirt and grime that causes noise on your records. The brush also features a unique ergonomic handle that helps you get a good grip and apply the right amount of pressure to really scrub the record. It can be used as a wet-cleaning brush  or as a dry record brush. Shota recommends buying 2 - one for wet and one for dry. One pad will clean hundreds of your favorite LPs. Recommended. 

When dealing with rare and expensive records, sometimes standard paper inner sleeves just don't cut it. If you really want to protect your vinyl in the best sleeves possible, go for the premium Mofi Master Sleeves. These imported, anti-static sleeves are similar to rice paper and feature three-ply thickness. The back construction consists of a paper layer sandwiched between two sheets of high-density polythylene (HDPE) with a translucent HDPE front. Comes in a pack of 50.

Unless you have one of those expensive vacuum cleaning units, this one of the best and easiest way to deep clean your valuable records. This quick drying, alcohol-based cleaner dissolves particulate matter and evaporates, taking the residue with it, eliminating the need for secondary rinsing. 

Once clean, you'll notice a clear reduction in noise, quieter, deeper backgrounds (especially good on ambient and jazz records with lots of silence), and a greater dynamic range all around. For best results, use with 2 brushes - one to apply the ONE liquid, and a dry brush to remove any remaining particles. 16 ounces. Recommended.

Hunt's EDA MK 6 Carbon Fiber Brush is an excellent way to keep your records clean and dirt free. The brush features an ingenious two-in-one design with dual rows of carbon fiber bristles that surround a wide plush pad area in between. The result is like having an Audioquest style carbon-fiber brush and a Nitty Gritty plush-style brush in one! A highly effective dry brush that actually picks up dirt and debris instead of just moving it around on the record. Recommended.

This works well for cleaning all of your electrical connections and adapters. For DJ equipment maintenance, the deoxit pen works with all the important connections: rca's, fader wire connections, and especially (and the main reason we got this) for tonearm-headshell connections.

Not getting sound out of one channel? We don't guarantee this will fix it, but in most cases of build-up it will. Licking the connections on your headshell/cartridge is a good quick fix, but it actually leads to more build-up. If you ever tried to clean the inside the tone-arm prongs with a toothpick, you know why this is a blessing. The tip works just like a chisel point marker and fits effectively into the tonearm socket for easy cleaning.
