Lab Overview

With its miniscule presses and amazing content, Four Tet's Text imprint has achieved mythical big dong unicorn status. The 20th release only strengthens the myth with an epic (yeah bro, it's epic), seven minute Jamie XX remix of "Lion" that's garnered over 350K listens on Soundcloud (that's like SC's underground equivalent to "Gangnam"). It's one of those tracks that encapsulates a period of your life experience, condensed into one headphone listening session (headphone pre-amp recommended). That bassline that emerges gives me goosebumps. Rain down on Babylon or your local strip mall! Other side features the new school shuffle-step Happa remix of "Jupiters." Get it before it's a goner, recommended.
