Soundstudio 3 is a simple and effective audio editing program exclusively for Mac users. Soundstudio allows you to record, edit, and add effects to your audio in pro quality 24-bit/96kHz stereo (or mono) with ease. Record from any sound input (cd, tape, vinyl, etc), do podcasts, add voiceovers and even remove pops and clicks from your old vinyl or add cue points for albums and mixes. The beauty of this program is its intuitive interface and incredibly easy to use. It isn't cluttered with icons and buttons that you will hardly use, it is clean and simple and straight to the point with only the essential information displayed. This doesn't mean it cannot handle more complex tasks however. Soundstudio features powerful mastering, cleaning and multitracking functions as well as a nice selection of professional quality effects. Effects included are: compressor, expander, noise gate, graphic EQ, low-pass/high-pass filter, delay, flanger, reverb, echo, and more.
